French Cake-Strawberry Shortcake
1/2 Cup melted butter
3-Eggs
1-tsp real vanilla
3-tsp baking powder
2-Cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4-Cup flour
1-Cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Then add baking powder, sugar, salt and flour, mix well. Finally add 1 c milk, again mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13 cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
**Serve with fresh sliced strawberries or top cake with your favorite chocolate icing.
I baked mine in cupcake size mini bunt pan for about 8-13 min. for individual servings.This is a really old recipe and when you bake it in a 9x13 pan the top gets a yummy sugar crust!!
